Stay Here is an American reality television series on Netflix that focuses on home improvements. The show's first season of 8 episodes was released on Netflix on August 17, 2018. It features Genevieve Gorder, an interior designer, and Peter Lorimer, a real estate broker, transforming homeowners' short-term rental homes into moneymakers across the United States. Episodes include a houseboat in Seattle, Washington, a brownstone in Brooklyn, New York, and a firehouse in Washington, D.C

In early 2018 I was asked by Peter Lorimer , an agent that I was shooting for to be a part of a reality show that required me to photograph vacation home renovations around the country for three months on a shoe-string budget. At that time, I had no idea if the show was going to be picked up so I basically just took a chance and said yes to the opportunity. After production, I found out that Netflix would pick it up and I would appear in all 8 episodes as the photographer who captured the spaces of the completed remodels. Netflix eventually licensed all of my images for the marketing of the show and you can see my images throughout the series in all episodes. It was a super fun and exciting part of my career. We traveled all over the country in the span of three months visiting eight incredible cities all over the US filming, renovating and photographing each vacation home and it was truly an experience I’ll never forget.

“Among incredible Los Angeles real estate photographers providing services to the high-end luxury market, we find Cris Nolasco! His journey into the real estate world has taken place over years of working hard to make art a viable source of income. He has thousands of listings to his name now, as well as the professional experience required of a master.
In his time, Cris has worked alongside home builders and developers, architects, retail store owners, and other businesses in need of top-quality media! Many of the locations he’s captured have also been presented in TV, commercials, and movies—all part of documenting the potential of spaces for the thriving Los Angeles market”

I was hesitant to post this because I know there are a handful of LA photographers that shoot Real Estate whose images are incredible that can teach me a lesson or two. So for all the haters in the building-calm down, this is just one article. Anyway, thank you Peerspace for the recognition and congrats to all the photographers that made the list!
Pen and Napkin is a non-profit design community that furnishes and decorates homes for people out of homelessness. In December 2021, I volunteered my services to photograph a completely free apartment makeover by Karen Steinberg of Decor Revolution in Reseda, CA.
“The project was not only achieved through the hard work and dedication of Steinberg and Pen + Napkin, but also a much larger group of individuals, including Emily Henderson, Decor Revolution Design Assistant Kateryna Calderon, and photographer Cristopher Nolasco, and companies like Calico, Poly and Bark and Oh Joy!” - Luke Netzley for Arroyo Magazine December 2021
